what so fun about this game " Among Us "

it is unclear how, being a member of the blackhatworld, you do not know what money is paid for promoting this shit and social networks like YouTube, Facebook twitch and so on for those who promote advertising shit, this is a niche for earning. otherwise, if you refuse to understand it, you better delete your profile here)) . In the end, many here, too, gathered to deceive visitors to their resources in order to make money by promoting unnecessary shit. Today is the age of advertising deception. The whole world is built on deception.
There is one wonderful Russian film - "Generation P". in which there is a huge sense of how advertising works and how marketers care about selling you anything this movie with a lot of meaning I advise everyone to watch this movie or read the book

Loads of students started playing it when they went back to uni, that's why it got so popular all of a sudden
is kinda like Dota , I remember back than while I working in a school. I see those students come break time will all playing dota together .

I haven't even played this game but see references to it everywhere ("sus" has become a new fad word/phrase/meme thanks to the game) - and if you're on a marketing forum talking shit about the game itself you're missing the point. These devs struck GOLD and are laughing all the way to the bank while people are saying the game is "dumb" (or "pointless," whatever) - do better if it's so easy. Mad respect to the creators, I'm always in awe from a business/marketing perspective when things like this explode (angry birds, or flappy bird, anyone?) - part of it is luck, but the game has been around for years and finally caught fire - awesome to see, tbh. Most overnight sensations weren't "overnight successes" at all and took a lot of work to succeed, but it gives hope that anyone with a half decent idea and persistence (and some luck, of course) can strike it big.

Back to the main question - idk why people think it's fun since I haven't played it - but from what I can tell it utilizes teamwork, suspicion, and deceit to fool others - which always make for a fun combination, it's like a fun simple game night with friends without having to meet up in person. And with the pandemic/paranoia still going on the market is ripe for any tech that brings people together to take their minds off the state of the world right now.
