    Hi,

I am wondering what kind of SMTP services you're using to send out BULK emails. The following have been found, but feel free to share your experience with them.

    1. Amazon SES - cheap SMTP solution; average inbox rate (some of their shared IPs have been blacklisted). They aren't very strict at monitoring their outgoing emails for spam.
    2. Mandrill APP - cheap as well; however their sending limits are based on your reputation. They are VERY strict in sending doubtful emails.
    3. MailJet - cheap, but also very strict on sending doubtful emails.
    4. MailGun - cheap and not strict in monitoring their outgoing emails. (just a recommendation: add a prepaid creditcard (for example: Entropay) to your account and you will be able to send 12000 emails for free. You will be charged for EACH month AFTER your email campaigns. I was able to send out 200k emails and removed my creditcard. I entered some fake personal details and they never billed me lol) Disadvantage: their shared IPs are very poor.
    5. Elastic Email - expensive, but not very strict in monitoring their outgoing emails.

    More to come!

The best for me is own server in bulletproof hosting, but find that one which doestn block for lot of emails is not easy nowdays. Even bulletproofs for xrumer etc can block you for spamming mails

Thanks for the list. Do you know anyone who provides an un-restrictive service for sending e-mails? Without the need for opt-ins and unsubscribe emails etc?

I been seeing a few BST offering unlimited emails. But they are having rep problem so ...

I saw amazon SES too and there's a service called sendy. Trying to cheap out and see if I can set it up without going through them.

I have been using send grid and they are ok. My emails are legit transactional emails though so cannot comment on their "strictness".
