What situations will be published by Google? (several similar sites)

I have a successful retail site. However, I would like to build another retail sites with different brand but similar products and another wholesale site, and manage them by using the same GSC account. I do not know if I would be published by Google for similar site.
So there are 2 questions:
1. Will Google treat the retail site and whosale sites with similar products as blackhat behaviors and make a pulishment?
2. Will Google treat the several retail sites with similar products and different brands as blackhat behaviors and make a pulishment?

they'll not punish you, but you'll probably be competing against yourself for the same (non-branded) keywords
