With Google's frequent Algo Shift it has become very difficult to rank sites from any niche.
Even if a site ranks fast but it depends to a great extent on the Site's Authority weather it will be able to hold the position it has already attained for a longer period of time or not.
Micro Niche sites with thin Content and Sites with exact match domains (EMDs) are tough to rank nowadays plus these sites suffers frequent penalty.

you can rank tumblr very fast, but you have to post unique content many times a day
