What Sim cards do i need for SMS UK broadcasts ?

I've just joined the forum, as someone told me this was the best place to get the answer to my question...

I'm a Email broadcaster. but I've been given an SMS gateway by someone who never got around to using it ?
So my question is ?

What Sim cards do i put in this gateway so that i can send texts out to my data base's of fully opt'd in UK mobile numbers [ 2.6m ]
I have tried a couple of PAYG Sims. I.E. Giffgaff & T-Mobile but these are cut off after about 400 texts

This gateway has 12 ports so i presume i need 12 Sims.
There must be an answer to this question. Has everybody is sending SMS's now a days...

Hi Alex,

What gateway are you using? Teles / Quescom / Hypermedia or a modem pool? Makes a big difference. You need to add in some human behaviour to keep the SIMs on - each SIM should be making and receiving a few calls as well as the SMS. The SIMs should be seen in different cell sites and not just one. Also do you know about the fines in the UK recently? You need to be very careful.

The best SIMs are contracts as you won't have the limit or get cut off so quickly. Contracts will last around a week before being blocked if you're sending 10 hours a day. It's difficult to get hold of the contract SIMs but they're by far the best.
