    Hello,

I bought a directory submission service from the corresponding subforum at BHW.
The service appeared to be pure crap and most importantly, the service has nothing to do with its advertisement with the seller constantly lying.
The strange thing is, that there are tens of pages in that thread praising the service. (What is wrong with those forum members?!?)

    So, what should I do?
In my opinion the user, although having good reputation at first glance, deserves to be banned and his thread closed or something.

I don't think there is much sense to put my investigations in the thread because they will be lost after some time in all those hundreds of posts in the thread.
Furthermore, at the beginning I used to think that this forum is let's say more special than similar forums out there but over a very short period of time I started to doubt it seriously.
There are lots of crappy posts in the forum and now even the approved paid services appear to be just advertising lies. This undoubtedly diminishes the value of the forum.
So, if there is someone here who cares about the quality of this place, please advise what can I do or should I do anything at all in relation to the above.

Note, that I have already "lost" more money investigating that guy's activities than I've spent for the service itself... So, I'm doing this only to help the rest of the fish on the forum from taking the bait of this inexplicable praising of a false service.

good of you to share your experience here, but
It would be very helpfull if you could post the thread titile,
if not the actual member which you feel has shortchanged you.

I actually think that the transparency which BHW shows is good, and
it is a pity your experience thus far is only mediorce.

please post a link for more comments.

    thanks

Seeing how many pages that thread has with praising comments, I'm afraid that if I post the link, the praising will continue or maybe even some quarrel could happen. I cannot understand what all the praise is based on cause I've made some investigation already and I've seen that the service has nothing to do with the advertisement. People are really, really strange and that's nothing new to me but maybe I just expected that the people on this forum are not so blind.

I would post the thread link and a full description of what I've found if I know that somehow this will prevent people from spending their money on this service. But if I post this information here the majority of people buying the service won't read it at all.
That's why I suppose some of the moderators or admins could suggest some better solution so if the user is not banner or the thread closed, at least the potential buyers of the service could find and read this info easily and after that, decide for themselves what to do.
