As someone who is trying to get into being a wholesaler, I've reached out to a few companies over in Europe who have the type of product that I'm interested in selling and as of right now, am thinking about sending any business I get to one company in particular...
HOWEVER
After a recent email exchange with a potential 'buyer', one which didn't go off so well, because of my own stupidity, I'm thinking I may need to re-evaluate my business practice.
At this current time, the company I've somewhat committed to using to drop-ship all relevant product(s) only accepts payment via Western Union and ships via UPS.
NOTE: They are a 'GOLD SUPPLIER' on Alibaba, so I assume they've been 'checked out' and are on the up-and-up...but who knows really what being a 'gold member' actually entails.
This one particular suppliers has stated in their emails to me that once payment for said product(s) has been received via Western Union, that I would then be sent a scanned PO (Purchase Order), along with UPS tracking number.
However, seeing as money transferred via western union really cant' be tracked, I'm re-evaluating whether or not I should even use this company and just go look for another supplier who takes payment via paypal or wire transfer.
Thoughts/opinions are welcomed.
