What should i do with this domain? People with knowledge and ideas needed! ;D

Hi guys&girls (that is my first started thread but i am a lurker since a few months)!

I have read a lot of really interesting stuff here on BHW and i also have learned so many things here (keyword research, methods, Seo and so on).

So today i need your help, because i really do not know what i should do with a domain i have bought!

First i have to explain my situation a little bit:

• I have a good running website with 300-400$ income per month (i know it is not as much as other people earn, but i hope that i can raise that income in the next few month and that i can stabilize it)
• My website is in the finance-industry and i have about 100 different domains linking to me
• I own a little pbn, but not really worth talking about it
• I have blog comments link, web 2.0 links, pbn links and so on, a nice mixture i would say

So this is where i am now with my homepage and let us call the homepage "brandcompany.com".

So some time ago i have bought an expired domain "otherbrand.com" with a really nice link profile in the finance industry.
No money keywords, only fine nice brandanchors and clean links (i have checked it!) from about 40 Domains.

So now i need your help, i have thought about different things i could do with this domain. I have though about the following options:

1. I could redirect the bought "otherbrand.com" to my existing "brandcompany.com" homepage. If i understand this step right, this would mean that i get different brand anchors linked to my homepage with another brand. I would say that is not really impossible (in the eyes of Mr.G), because there are also no money keywords involved.
2. I could redirect the bought "otherbrand.com" to a subpage of my domain and this subpage could be like "brandcompany.com/otherbrand".
3. I could use the bought domain for my PBN and make it look ike it was before and then i could link with money keywords to my "brandcompany.com"
4. The same like in option 3 but i link from the PBN domain with my brand anchor to my homepage

What would i like to achieve?

• Higher link diversity to my homepage without money keywords
• Getting a high amount of link juice from the redirected homepage to my actual homepage
• Higher rankings, caused by redirected links from domains in the same niche (high trust flow in this topic)
• No penality from Mr.G or other search enginge
• It should be a ling term thing

In my opinion option 1 would be the best way to achieve all the things i want.

So what would you do or what would you recommend me to do? Am i forgetting anything or do you have other ideas for my case?

I really appreciate your answers and that i can learn one thing or two!

I'd go with 1 or 4. Frankly I find myself more comfortable with 4, but that's a personal preference.

Option 1 is the easiest to do by far and isn't as much of a hassle as Option 4, but Option 4 would give you better results.

It's just a matter if you're willing to put in the extra bit of work to go with Option 4

If you need juice to increase ranking of a specific keyword then go for 3

If you need juice for all your keywords go for 4

What sort of site was otherbrand.com? If it was an informational site too, then you could simply create a basic homepage saying "otherbrand is now brandcompany - please follow the link to visit our new site" with 'brandcompany' as your anchor text (plus a basic design and logo). Believe it or not, this is what plenty of genuine businesses do when they buy out another company or change their brand name. It might actually serve to preserve those existing backlinks as it would seem legit.

The only thing would be how closely related this second domain is in terms of it's previous function.

First thing only boys here and i will go with first and fourth option for sure. But better go with fourth.

Thanks guys for your answers! I have to admit, option 4 was not my first call, but your recommendations gave me something to think about. Now for me too option 4 seems to be the best thing to do with this domain!
