What should I do with the VPS I bought?

Hi guys,

I bought a VPS about 4-5 days ago, 1GB ram, 100m/bit line and 200gb monthly allowance.

I initially wanted to run quite a few instances of SB and just test it out, see what it feels like to have a VPS - but from what I can tell, it is nothing special. The only good thing is the 100m/bit line... which is probably shared anyway so I won't get all of it.

Is there anything good I can use it for still? Im probably going to get SB license moved back to my normal PC as the VPS can't handle too many instances... better for me to run 10 instance on my own PC and leave it on all night.

Buy yourself Xrumer and start making good use of the VPS you've bought.

Looks like you have a windoze box.. what are the specs and where are you hosting.. been looking for one myself.

Yep windows 2008, not sure about the CPU some Xen? 8 core, with 1GB ram... goes like crap! I can just buy a quad i7 with hyper threading and 12gb ram and run a crap lot of instances, too bad my line is only 6m/bit... but it is unmetered so it should be decent!

Security. Is the firewall locked down? Is there a strong root password? Do users have the lowest level of permissions possible to accomplish what they need?
