What should I do with $2,500?

Hello BHW, I currently have a decent amount of money that I am comfortable spending for the first time in a while. I have saved a lot on the side and have set aside an amount to spend.

My question is, what should I do with my $2,500? What should I invest it in? Anything I could spend it on other than stocks that could make me some money?

I am also interested in any ventures and business ideas.

Definitely don't invest, if you are interested in any reasonable ROI in the near future. If you are able to lose all that money and it won't financially destroy you, then I'd set aside $300 per business and start 8 different ideas. Whatever it is. Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, Dropshipping. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I’ve been trying Dropshipping but no sales yet. Trying to find something I could get into for sure.
 
Mhm, affiliate marketing is basically no risk if you find a way to get free traffic onto your site. Spamming shorts used to work, not sure if it still does. TikTok is booming right now, try and get some affiliate links and promote them like crazy, you would have to try very hard to lose money if you do not invest any in the first place

Always remember, money in before money out. So if you are not making any money, don't go ahead putting more money into the business thinking it will grow and flourish. Make sure that, before you invest any serious sums of money into the business, you were paid, by real people, for your product or service.

I have a big instagram theme page but have yet to monetize it. I thought about trying tiktok theme pages too, but none of that costs really.

first start a small venture and see if you make money.
once it starts making money, start scaling ;)

If I were you I'd invest this in building assets - Niche websites, Facebook pages, Instagram accounts et al.

So for instance, if you're building an authority site - it'll get you somewhere decent in the building process. Or if you're building a Facebook Page - it'd get you somewhere decent. You could purchase a starter site on Flippa that's making $x a month.

You'll have to realize that $2500 is starting step for a lot of things and decent money for a lot others.

For instance, you mentioned dropshipping - building a dropshipping site is easy. However, it's equally super easy to spend $2500 in advertisements and not gain anything if you don't know what you're doing.

If you have money to invest, spend it on building sustainable assets.

It is a good amount to start with on online money making.
You may invest in reselling digital products like ebooks, software, videos, audios, email lists, images and templates etc. All these digital products can be sold again and again to many people as they are digitally downloadable.
Also you can automate your business. Try emaillistusa dot com reseller lists or buyplrebooks dot com plr products. Invest little in buying them, build your own website and sell them, also keep some for advertising your website/business.

I would buy a website with traffic but no earnings because it's cheap and then I'd scale it.

Or buy an aged domain for 1k and the rest of the money can be spent on writers.

Or invest in several autoblogs (either PAA or AI content). Content is cheap to generate nowadays. You may get 1 successful website out of 10, so this is not as safe as WH blogs.

This budget is more than enough to hire a good team of freelancers (writer + video editor + voiceover) and start creating videos on Youtube.

You could easily get you a nice domain with backlinks and that will give you a good push to start a nice site. That would honestly be your best bet as investing in anything else would probably just be gambling. For example you could find you a nice product then invest the money in Google ads but you may not always necessarily get any sales.

$2500 is too little to invest in anything. Risks always come with the investment. If you accept it you can try some crypto.
