I have a nice authority site with excellent content all written by me.

Twice now, this guy (I even know his name and his company) who runs an SEO company out of Denver, has either done some content injection to one of my aricles, or he has actually cracked my WP password to enter links everywhere within the content of my articles. I let it go the first time because there wasn't much damage, but this time I had to remove almost 30 links from one 500 word article, and re-format the article. This time however I copied all of the links because these are his customers, about thirty different clients. I can also tell the little sh*t isn't as big-time as his website would lead one to believe. He may even be a member here.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind blasts but I also don't put up with this kind of crap especially when I have to waste time re-doing important content, all which costs me money. So I've decided to something about it. I've got a few ideas, like mainly blasting porn links to all his customers' sites or e-mailing his customers threatening civil action of some kind.

But I want to know what you think. Should I kill his business or not?

If it bothers you that much I would send his customers an email/letter stating that you are suing them or something like that because of the way that they are conducting their SEO activities. They will get freaked out and probably fire the guy.
 
Threaten legal action, if he persists take action and sue him for hacking and damages. Perhaps email his clients letting them know that their seo provider is hacking your sites in order to build links.
 
I run a SEO firm, and when I first started out I sent blog comments to a clients website to enhance there rankings. A blog owner sent them a email complaining, so obviously they came to me and yes I did shit my pants! So I would suggest you write to his clients, I would normally disagree with this, but if he's costing you money then he's brought it on himself!
 
Write a professional letter to all his client regarding legal actions against him. Make sure you secure your blog first.

Thanks guys for all the useful comments. I really would like to forget about it but these links are not like blog comments. Imagine your well-written article littered with thirty different links to sites like "IKEA Denver" to "how to pass a urine test," in the process of which your article's formatting is all f'ked up and you have to first remove the links then try to remember how you had it formatted (e.g. paragraphs,bold,h2,h3 etc.). I would have given him some links if he'd just commented but no...he wanted to be a smart*ss. And this is the second time it's happened (it's better secured now).

Fair is fair. He's probably a member here so I 'll give him three (3) days to find this thread (if he doesn't, oh well) and apologize or I'm sending nasty legal notices to all his clients.

Just so there will be no mistake who I'm talking about, I'll list a few of his clients here.

Are you using a nulled theme or something? Do you have any seo plugins installed? First step would be to stop him having access to your content.
 
I agree that you should do something, especially since this is the 2nd time he's done it. The only thing he will pay attention to is you contacting his customers. I'd contact them all to threaten something. geez - for all the work he did to get those links on your site, he could have gotten them more or less "legitimately" without spamming you to death.
 
Well I would not have let him slide the first time and why give him a chance now. Email his clients and tell them you are coming after them for hacking your site. That will kill his business in no time.

Second you seriously need to harden your sites. If you need help with that drop me a PM and I will give you a hand.

I do have seo plugins installed and they, as do most other types of plugins have security vulnerabilities like GET REQUEST and GET URI. I'd have to almost demolish my site to get rid of all of them. Getting him fired seems at this point to be my best security measure. He'll think twice before he injects an illegal link into my pages again.

If you get him fired, what's to stop him from going after you site even harder? Threatening to get him fired seems like a better idea.

Good point. But if he has no customers why would he need to inject backlinks. And even if he does, he' s just giving me the rope to hang him.
The site he's been pickin' on doesn't make me much money, so he will lose much more than I will if he continues.

I agree that would be my biggest fear. He could most likely destroy your website. Think about if you ruin his business and he has no way to pay his bills. Contact him directly before contacting his clients.
