What should i do to my Google unindexed pages

I have a user-submitted post forum with about 4000 pages, i checked my google console account recently and discovered that more than half of the pages are not indexed by google. I want to find out from this forum what i should do with those unindexed, should i delete them or leave them?

Just leave them. It's super common in a forum to not have all indexed pages. Focus on the best performers.

Thanks for your reply. My concern is that will leaving them not have a negative impact on my forum ratings especially when unindexed are more than the indexed.
 
Fetch them on G News Sites (New Edition) High Chances of Getting Indexed
 
Just leave as it is, Google is not only the search engine in the world. There are bing, yandex,yahoo and many others too. Pages which aren't index in Google are maybe indexed in other search engines. Also, deleting them will not have any major impact, instead you might lose some traffic from other sources.
 
Don't worry about it. You should just focus on the more important links

I ever deindex blog. I just leave for one year never update. And then reindex again. I never backlink anymore just posted article one month one article for one year.
 
No worries mate! It happens. Just concentrate on producing quality content.

Why would you delete them? It's extra work from you and you lose the chances of that content being indexed some time in the future.
 
It is a very common for any website to have approximately only 25% pages indexed and 75% not indexed.

In most of the cases, most of those 75% pages are indexed, but Google just doesn't show them as indexed for unknown reasons.

You can check it yourself - select any one URL from unindexed pages and check in "URL inspection" in your GSC. It will show as indexed with green mark.

As an effort from your end, you can consider identifying those unindexed ones, interlinking them and submitting them on social media platforms so that Google bot somehow finds them - if it has not found them before.

Keep doing this ritual for few weeks and check results after that.
