Try to submit your skype log on that Paypal dispute.
But since paypal always favors the buyers in this kind of disputes you will probably lose.

If that true No one will deal via Paypal Cuz i can buy today and take the item and the money tomorrow

It is true unfortunately, and people do it a lot. Its happened to me many times, which is why a lot of people refer to paypal as "Gaypal". They have stupid rules and screw the seller a lot. You should have made him send payment as Gift, Personal Payment, or Services, all of which are hard to dispute (in fact some times gift and personal payment CANNOT be disputed).

Just a though: Send him ANYTHING, even a piece of paper and show paypal the tracking number saying that you sent him his product. Digital products are hard to prove but with a tracking number thats solid evidence.

But if you open too many same kind of dispute, your paypal account may be banned by paypal, they will think you are a scamer.

If you sell service, it's hard to get money back if there is any dispute opened. But after your paypal account earned enough credibility, get money back will be easier.

Paypal doesn't automatically side with sellers or buyers. They have a two stage process, informal and formal. during informal phase, buyer and seller attempt to resolve issues by communicating with each other. Do your part and tell buyer your side of deal. Be sure to provide complete story. If you cannot come to agreement, elevate and let Paypal decide. Your complete details will help PP see things from your perspective.

Well, since you said that you have the whole bunch of chatlog on you could submit it to Paypal and explain it to them clearly.
Just make sure you write it proper sentences that makes sense and avoid txtalk.

I think you can not get this back. I have heard here on BHW from many services providers that their work is all virtual and have no physical existence so you have no tracking number or invoice for it, and paypal wants invoice or tracking number like some thing for proof.

But have a relax and give it a try, may be it works for you. Tell the Paypal clearly what happens and if they close the dispute in favor of buyer then try to call them and clear the whole scenario, may be it will work.

I can say that your money is stuck now, next time, I can suggest you to use Plimus.com because they deal in all seo services types products, they also allow to make payment using paypal but if one open dispute there, then plimus fights in Paypal dispute center for you but only when you are legit and have given proofs to plimus about your service.

I dont believe any of the posts above are very helpful.

The exact same thing has happened to me, the guy in question bought my page on ebay and is a complete scam artist.

Do be clear with paypal and honest. Most people dont understand that paypal does not protect buyers against digital goods or services.

All you need to do is clearly write that this sale was for a facebook fan page, a digital product. There was no physical items to ship and send them a screen shot of the skype chat.

Then next step is to call them. Calling them always helps, they are much more helpful over the phone.

Once they are 100% sure this was not a physical item they will side with you 100% of the time.

Paypal did tell me however that if you got more then one of these they would look closely into my account and may ban my account.

The lesson learnt is that now I will only be accepting westernunion or bank transfer for fan page sales from now on.
