Hi,

I need to rank 4 high competition keywords with < 35,000 global searches on google.com

My question is which services do people usually go for? Backlinkgenie? I do not have a large budget and I need something that can show me results.

Would be grateful if you could post some recommendations that work!

Doing it yourself. You can't beat that if you're on a low budget. Handbuilt web 2.0s, handbuilt blog comments (find high pr blogs using scrapebox, even if you only have $50, buy it, it'll be more useful than anything you'll ever buy, trust me.)

And I say all this as a service provider.

Without a large budget you will find yourself working very hard. I don't have one either and use the bookmark hero service thread since I have very little time to do that and everything else too and it's something I can afford right now. They have been doing a great job so far. There are some great services here and plenty I am saving up my pennies for one at a time.

I would recommend any package from Rakoom2002. Most of his stuff is pretty darn good and gets my sites ranked well.
