Curious what everyone’s go-to language is for automating tasks Python, JS, PHP, or something else?
What made you choose it? Speed, libraries, or just familiarity?

Python. Is quite easy to use once you got some basic knowledge.
Depends the kind of system or automation.

Pyhton is the easiest to start with the basic stuff it all depend on what you want to do

Depending on what you want to automate: bash scripts, python, PHP, Powershell, ...

The usecase makes my choice.

either python or javascript with nodejs depending on what the task demands. i really like using nodejs so many times i have ended up going with that and js / ts due to the easy of deploying as part of a web app
