im not sure whats powering it - but i dont believe its joomla, i checked the source code and it doesnt look like "typical" joomla generated code...

although you could probably do it with a customized layout of the joomla component seyret and customizing this template:

i dont see why not - however you will still need to install seyret video component, seyret provides a lot more user interaction with the videos, like comments and rating - the JA template looks like its videos have been embedded manually using standard joomla content articles... probably using the allvideos plugin found free at:

allvideoplugin is customized version of longtailvideo flash player found at:

www.longtailvideo.com

i believe with longtail you can display adsense on your videos unlike the allvideo plugin...

why do people look at a site and assume its a script/template you can download?

a lot of sites look very generic and are often pre scripted and not custom built - sometimes there is no point reinventing the wheel if a script is available so its good to use the same script especially if you want something quick... other than that i dont know!
