Hello,

I am new to gscraper and scraping. Is there any experienced scraper here who using proxies successfully to scrape google/bing/yahoo.

My ultimate plan is to use dedicated/vps to scrap but currently only looking for reliable proxies. Please share your personal experience and not promotion please :)

Hello,

We would recommend you DreamProxies.com - the best price for proxies, also reliable, fast and Elite proxies. Every website and software is allowed, good for scraping, comments posting and other activities. Order now with 50% discount!

Thanks

Last time i checked Gscraper is dead.

Well their site is eye-bleeding ugly but it doesn't look dead :) If you're looking for Google proxies you can't do better than Proxymillion - check my sig! You won't be disappointed.

One thing you didn't mention is your experience. Are you coding a script yourself? Will you use software? If it's the latter then Scrapebox is your friend :) If you're coding yourself just about anything goes! You'd want to focus on speed most of all.

for full story on gscraper read here
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/782884-beware-gsrcaper.html

back last year many users who complaining of no support from gscraper
users blocked for requesting support
emails ignored
users blocked on skype
there support section on there website shut down due to complaints
falling url rates
long wait times for patches
there sales thread on this forum not answered to since 2013 left users abandoned.

i took it on myself to shitlist HAWKE aka owner/maker gscraper for above issues
and abandoning his customers on bhw and gsa forums.
the mods found in my favor and removed gscraper sales threads and all there
adds from bhw so other users didnt fall into the trap of buying something
with 0 support .

now does gscraper still work? yes
are url rates still good? no not like a year ago 200k urls a min
those days are gone. if u can put up with low url rates then your fine.

Hello,

Thanks for your advice! I am a programmer but for sake of saving time currently we have decided to use gscraper.

My experience with scraper and scraping search engine is limited. Looking at other users comment I am not rethinking about using gscraper.

Thanks for your advice. Really helpful.

I am currently using 20 private proxies and getting about 2.5k/min from scraping bing. Is it lower then average? Is there any standard satisfying rate per IP addresses?
