I havent used aftereffects in like a decade

i always considered it more for live motion.

and this seems like a lot of vector work.

you guys think after effects is the way to go? for a purely vector-based animation?

The most cost effective way to do this would be to find something similar on Videohive and then render it with your text/images in After effects.

Hiring someone to do this will be very expensive.

I think he meant to make a custom one similar to that from scratch, which would be fairly expensive. videohive templates are the way to go.

Hi Tony,

they definitely use Adobe After Effects, you can make these kind of videos yourself with cheap templates you can find here http://videohive.net/ ... I found it a while ago by accident and I am pretty amazed by what you can achieve with ready made video templates!

So i had a look at that website.

This one here looks pretty solid - like similar to the link mentioned on my first post:

I'm assuming if i owned after effects, i could stick that project file in there and tweak away...

hmm...

now where am i gonna get after effects....

Just make a serach in torrents and download.... download CS4 version..

the motion profile is in cs4 format... it is easy to replace text as you want and take output...

i use after effects for long time... i mostly use downloaded videohive template from torrents or google search the template name

Just do a torrent search for "after effects thethingy"

All you'll have to do is make some changes to your hosts file and the program will install correctly.
