What program to write articles

    Hello, I've become pretty good at writing articles and in a day I can write a nice amount of them, right now I'm searching for a program to write them in and keep track of them. I usually write them right into wordpress, but that doesn't feel the best, not having a local copy etc.

    I find that writing in notepad etc is kind of depressing, and when your writing a high volume of articles, the LAST thing you need is to be depressed haha.

    I've seen article toolchest or something like that (got to search for it again).

    Anyway, what are you useing for mass article writing?

    Here is what I do:
    A folder named "Articles"
    Microsoft Word for writing, formatting and spell checking
    Sort the articles by the "Date Modified" field.
    Thats it.

    I write them in Word or Google Docs. I prefer Google Docs because it's automatically backed up to the cloud, so I don't have to worry about losing data--even if my browser crashes or whatnot in the middle of writing. I have lost data in the WordPress editor, so I don't trust it any more.
