Usually these statements followed by 'I can write a routine in assembler to copy file from a diskette byte-by-byte'. Programming concepts are changing so fast so I would say 5+ old experience often does more bad than good (unlike any other profession), not to speak about 10+, even 20+.
Basically, nothing to brad about. No offence - I'm slowly falling into the same category (still have 15 years to go though).

Inexperience? Haha... you must be kidding... I write software since 30 years and used a lot of various programming languages.
