What program is used for Sales Pages?

Hi,

I need to know what program does web designers use in order to create Sales Pages, like the ones in the BST section or even 1 page websites or Landing Pages. Do they use PS or Adobe Fireworks or Adobe Illustrator.

Fireworks is designed for web designers, most use Photoshop (because that's what they know); however if you really wanted to you could mockup in Illustrator as well.
