whats the best program out there? Thanks

Windows movie maker works fine for me. I know others recommend Sony Vegas and Camtasia.

Video watermark factory is pretty good.

I tried that but after it saves to its own .avi files. It is really big like 1.5 gig for a 5 minutes video which was originally only like 5 mb

You need to compress your videos. Select DivX or ffdshow encoder from drop down list.

I use video watermark factory and just select output to wmv to convert/compress the file....it usually makes it smaller than the original avi. The only prob that I have with the program is that it doesn't work with Vista. God I hate Vista!!

I use Sony Vegas.

Gives me complete control over all the text in the vid.

Intro
Exit
Complete freedom of placement
Nice effects
Timeline
And more

Once I began with WMM but when I look back they sure look sh*t compared to what I make with Vegas these days.
