Do you reverse engineer your competition or do you use "best practices"?
I'm using this process:
Reverse engineer competitor videos to create ATTENTION GRABBING TITLES and opening line
This is the initial HOOK for the viewer
Follow up with AT MOST 3 questions that FRAME the video - ie., set up promises
Questions are attention grabbing/shocking... almost click baity (lol)
HOOK - shocking or 'turn what you THINK YOU KNOW upside down" type statement
Follow up with info that DELIVERS on the promise behind the hook
Set up a CONFLICT or set up another promise
NEXT HOOK
etc etc
CALL TO ACTION AT THE END
What process do you use and how does it work out in terms of VIEWER RETENTION and ENGAGEMENT?
