What prices for SEO services?

I am sure somebody can help me out with this issue that I am having I guess it finally got around in my community that I am doing online work and now I am getting inquiries left and right for jobs, however I have no clue what to tell them what the pricing would be.

For example:
A client asked me to work on their existing website and get them ranked for some fairly simple keywords. There is no backlinks, no social mentions, no nothing lol. They actually want to hire me for the keyword ranking, monthly management and social media websites.

Would you guys recommend to charge by the hour or do a simple package deal? Any input is appreciated

It doesn't matter what you do, SEO, coding project or massage - the prices are always calculated the same.

Lets say I'm ready to settle for $100 per hour. And I work 8 hours a day. I estimate that it will take me 20 days to finish the project.

$100 * 8 * 20 = $16,000 per project

Do you want that client badly, or new on the market and trying to build some reputation? Charge half of the sum above, but require a review upon completion.

Hi guyz i have a question i dont know how to price an SEO service..

Example I have Client and he/she selling a brand new car and he wants that each car on his website to be on top 1 page on google and also the main site. Lets just say that he/she wants that 20 cars to be on the first page on google.... how can i price that on SEO?..

Are you busy with online marketing now? Do you have the extra time to do the work? You know this type of work can be outsourced and if your actually making some money now why not outsoruce the link building to someone else and take cut off the top and continue doing your business. If you can say for sure that's all he need is backlinks then just hire someone else at fairly good rate and pocket the top change. Straight seo arbitrage at its best. You can easily charge $50-100 bucks an hour or you can take it a step further and just hire someone form odesk and get set rate for the month from them tack on your profit.

If you want to outsource then first of all try to post a project on odesk or freelancer.c0m.You will see that many of them will offer cheap price.Then you can take the decision about how much asking the price from your client

It's all relative. First you need to know more about their business. Find out their average customer value, average sale, things like that.

You can charge an attorney that makes thousands per client a lot more than a house painter. Get to know their business and how much valuable a new customer is worth to them.

Also find out if they want to build their brand online or if they if they just want more leads.

Some people want to get online because they see their competitors doing it.

When hiring a SEO firm bе surе to аsk fоr references. If they don't have аn examples оf previous clients аnd how theу were аble tо hеlp thеir search engine rankings increase, thеn stay away. Be sure to check theіr references and еxample of previous work. Don't bе afraid to call ѕomе of thеir references and previous client tо be ѕurе thіѕ SEO firm knоws whаt they аrе doing.

Basically, don't trust yоur website tо јust anyone. Do уоur due diligence аnd оnly go wіth а proven SEO firm.
