What prevents bots from completing affiliate programs?

What prevents someone from using an automated way to enter info or complete a survey for their own affiliate link? Suppose theyre high quality proxies? Sorry if its a naive question but I never seen anyone talk about this.

That wouldn't lead to new clients so the leads would be considered poor quality and you'd end up getting kicked out of the affiliate program, usually before even getting paid once.

There is a leads ratio system in place if you did this for 10,000 surveys and got 0 leads you just wasted your time.

Two things:
(1) It's fraud.
(2) Sites have sophisticated ways to detect these fraud leads for a great while now. It won't work, you won't get paid, instead you'll get the boot.

Thanks everyone, but how about CPA grip programmes? It just asks for tedious stuff like someone to enter their email, name etc. These info is available publicy. Meaning they could be faked while being valid.

Spend your time and energy doing something legitimate. You're not the first person to think of this, and networks/advertisers already have measures in place to detect fraud. Even if they didn't, they'll easily see your leads don't generate revenue and will give you the boot.
