If someone was getting people to fill out their cpa offers with the guise that the person doing the offer would receive an expensive gift, what precautions should that person take when committing the fraud?

Well if they reported you to the CPA company then there isn't a fat lot you could do as they will have your details etc.

True but you could always send it to a different address. I'm wondering if a CPA company would actually come after you for those petty crimes or just keep the earnings.

It's still fraud and they will be looking to go after someone. It's never a good idea to do that.

Well sounds like to me you are running incent on nonincent offers, so the first thing I would do is mask my traffic source. Perhaps buy domain with vcc.

Doesn't sound like a sustainable business model.

i think if something is to become of actual scale, some things need to check out, phone numbers etc, will probably be the easy ways to catch you on false details, though, more thorough stuff might even cause a situation you'll need to prove your address.
