What posts are worth responding to?

I am new to growing twitter accounts and was wondering what internal frameworks y'all generally use to determine whether a post is worth responding to or not. Of the posts I commented on today, only really 3 or so had any real chances of netting positive returns (atleast 6 hours later) and I am wondering what people generally look for to comment on early when growing new accounts. I'm new to growing Twitter accounts and would like to know what internal frameworks people typically use to decide whether a post is worth responding to.

I think 60% depends on whether the content of the article is a topic worth discussing or not.

For account visibility respond to tweets you have a knowledge of its meaning under big niche pages. know that the quality of your comment is mostly important than the tweet, users go to the comment section to clarify the concept of a tweet, your duty is to own the comment that does this clarification.

I normally check whether the post is getting fresh engagement and whether the audience matches the account I’m trying to grow. Posts with an active conversation are usually better opportunities than posts that already have hundreds of replies. The goal is to contribute something that makes people want to check your profile.

I usually look for posts where I actually have something to add, rather than just chasing the biggest accounts.


For me, a good sign is when the post is still fairly fresh and the replies aren’t already flooded. If I can add a useful point or share a quick experience, I’ll reply.


I’ve found that forcing replies just for the sake of activity usually isn’t worth it.
