What plugins do you use?

I run a more or less successful gaming-news & columns blog in Germany with some decent traffic and income (only via guest articles).

Now I'm wondering what Plugins all other websites may use and thought about sharing my collection - any improvements / suggesstions / anything?

Personally I'm not such a big of a fan in terms of "communities" like bbpress or something, cuz it needs to be taken care of and the results are to low from my point of view - but might be wrong. As we grow and have between 800 - 1.000 unique visitors per day the commentary-section starts to become a little bit more active.

Or maybe you have a very easy other option so I could cut down the amount of plugins I use.

If you use "All In One SEO" you can club at least 5+ of the above listed plugins, less clutter the better.

It depends on the website.

The plugins I tend to use the most are Akismet, Yoast SEO, Wordfence, and Contact Form 7; although I have a long list of plugins I like to use depending on the site's needs.

Looks like you are using too many plugins and if your site starts to get more traffic, it might start to slow down unless you have some serious hosting. I was plugin happy like that in the past, but I had to cut it down due to the strain it was putting on my hosting as I was (and still am) trying to keep the overheads low. I rarely use more than 5 plugins on a website.
