Does anyone know what platform is BH on? I'm looking to start a forum in a small niche and would like to take a look at the platform if it's hard to install on hostgator.

If you are asking about BHW then it's Vbulletin.

vbulletin is a good forum program, but if its only for a small forum/community then might you want to consider a smaller solution.

Like everyone else has said, vbulletin.

phpbb is good if you dont want to pay.
