‎I’m new to Pinterest and trying to understand which niches are currently performing best. There are so many categories, and I want to hear real experience from creators.

I think food and recipes are still one of the strongest niches. pins in this category tend to get long term saves and consistent reach.

Home decor, recipes, fashion, DIY, beauty, and personal finance still do well. Pick a niche you enjoy because staying consistent usually matters more than chasing trends.

Home decor, DIY, recipes, and fashion are some of the top Pinterest niches.Wellness, beauty, travel, and budgeting also perform really well.
Many creators are seeing growth with productivity and AI related content too.Posting helpful, keyword-rich pins consistently is the key to success.

I think Health, fitness, and weight loss tips still get a lot of saves, but competition is quite high now compared to before.

Yep but still for me "beauty" niche grow faster.

I recommend simply promoting content that will reach mostly female. Ex: sport, health, makeup, fitness etc

Home decoration. Also everything what women like, like finger nail designs. Keep in mind that approximately 70% of their user base are women!

I've done fashion, home decor, beauty, food and drinks. Any of them can grow fast if you're going after the right keywords but what you should be going after is not a niche where you can just grow impression faster, rather a niche where you can attract traffic really fast.

Reason that is important is that in some niches, it is very easy to grow impressions with pure image pins without texts, if you're posting with good keywords. But driving traffic from such is slightly harder since you have to amass a lot of impressions before you can some outbound clicks. While on some other niches, pins with texts and collages are able to get impressions and drive traffic without as much need an insane amount of impression.

In a nutshell, go after niches it's easier to drive traffic from.

The most successful categories on Pinterest typically focus on visual inspiration and lifestyle, including: Fashion & Beauty (especially makeup trends, sunscreen Pinterest Trends), Home Decor & DIY (house, tips and tricks), Recipes, and Travel/Wedding Planning. Creators often succeed by pinning high-quality images with direct links to their blogs or e-commerce stores.

The most effective categories on Pinterest tend to be visual and inspirational. According to content creators and Pinterest Trends data, the leading categories include: Fashion & Beauty (especially makeup, skincare, and personal care), Home Design & Decor, Recipes, and Travel/Lifestyle Ideas.

Food & Recipes: Over 18 billion pins, particularly popular for quick dinners, plant-based meal plans, and meal prep tips.

Food and recipes are highly popular topics on Pinterest. If you’re interested, it could be a niche worth exploring.

Before choosing a niche I would try searching on Pinterest first to see how many suggestions come up and whether there are any pins active. This will inddicate that people have a demand for such information.

Wouldn’t just chase the biggest niche. I’d check Pinterest Audience Insights first and look at the sub-niches inside each category. Some smaller niches still have millions of monthly users, but way less competition than huge ones like home decor or fashion. Easier to grow there imo

Female based niches like travel, wedding or pets grow the fastest.

Workout plans, DIY, How to do X,Food recipes. Also good thing to remember high % of Pinterest demographics are girls, around 70%, so you should put that into calculation in whichever direction you decide to go with

Right now: Money making tips - Side hustle - Ai Prompts

Picking a niche purely from that helps you go fast but going with one you actually know something or a lot about would help you go far.

Pinterest is great for home design, food, clothing, cosmetics, and do-it-yourself niches.
