Exactly. Panic reactions are usually what turn a manageable stall into a real problem.
When links keep increasing but content and internal signals stay flat, the imbalance shows up fast.
Pausing to realign intent and structure before continuing is often the smarter move.

Biggest mistake is overreacting. People keep pushing links instead of checking content intent or internal structure. I’ve seen sites drop just from anchor tweaks and rushed changes.
