what people are searching for on twitter

I recently did a post where I leaked a new song by a popular artist. Try to be on the cusp of what is what and offer people a source for further info and you should be okay. Don't chase the obvious keywords look for stuff that people wouldn't normally be able to obtain/spend time on.
I'm not 100% on this because twitter's search algorithm is strange and much of the traffic that I've driven may have come from retweets, there is no way that I know of to track this.
To sum up what I said: People are looking for anything that is breaking. Picture twitter as the gossip table at your high school, you hit twitter to find the most credible word of mouth source/eye witness/hard copy.
