I am launching a new product and am wondering what to use. I wanted to use PP but I heard alot of horror stories of freezing accounts. What can I do to avoid this? Any good alternatives?

You can take a look at wepay.com... they have been saying they are the "Paypal Alternative".

Then of course there are some regulars like Plimus and 2checkout

If you want to make sales you need Paypal, though there are indeed "horror stories" it remains the most popular processor.

The "horror stories" are part of normal business operation. Paypal or no Paypal, you're going to deal with them anyway.
