Was wondering what kind of niches pass through copyright and how? I've seen a bunch of channels making montages of other people playing video games, or of sport matches or of things such as movies (top 10 2016 movies), etc. Would those pass copy rights strikes and would i be able to monetize them? If not , is there any types of niches that are less strict on copyright strikes and what not? Thanks.

Content that you own or create by yourself will easily pass copyright. Also the channel that make montages might be following youtube fair usage policy, you should read about it.
