The problem is that you are standing still right now.
What backlinking have you done to your page? because frankly those vouchers aint going to get you that far, unless you have very good knowledge of ppc then you are going to be spending a lot of money learning ppc before you start seeing something profitable.
Focus on building links, go answer questions about your product in yahoo answers. Create some web 2.0, upload some youtube videos. Just don't stand still, do some backlinking to your blog and promote it before you start getting into ppc unless you have a big budget and not some 50 dollar vouchers.
I started a youtube channel 2 day's ago and have already accumulated 2k views with my blog in description.
I have done a bit of backlinking so far but thanks for the advice.
I just have basic sales knowledge so most of this is just speculation, but for what its worth:
Do you have a general idea of what you want to sell, or are you just trying to think of something that would appeal to as many people as possible? Unless you can come up with a mind blowing product that everyone would want (or at least make people think they want it) you may do a bit better if you try to get a bit more specific and targeted. If you want to go for mainstream appeal I would think your best bet and the easiest way to go would be to find a product that a large amount of people already use, and then either make a product or find a good wholesale hookup for a product that complements the other product. For example, ipods are very popular, so naturally ipod covers are going to sell well. Of course, I don't recommend you actually sell ipod covers because that market is saturated. Just do some research and be creative and you will find something.
IMO, the best alternative to that would be to find a group of people with a problem, make a solution for their problem, and find a way to get your solution in front of them. There's loads of information on that in these forums just search through the niche threads. Best of luck.
