What NOT to study!

While it might be true that college doesn't teach you how to make money, I think the real issue is that people don't know what to do with their degree once they're out of college. Even with a degree you still gotta hustle as much as anyone else without one, because schools are pumping out xyz graduates every 6 months.

You might not be able to get a job in your particular field of study, but surely you must have learnt something along the way that can help you in an another area, related or unrelated to your main field of study.

I went to college for Mechanical-Electrical Engineering and graduated this past semester.
During my time there I had to take a course in C programming language, and though I didn't become a bad ass coder it certainly helped me understand php, html & css a lot faster than I otherwise would have. Which, in turn, has helped me make money online.

Go to a different country to get a college degree, much cheaper and majors are broad so you dont get those weird courses..

you can take a college course online to see if you like it.

This is stupid. Math majors and CS are in demand all over the place. Especially Trading firms
