what needs a good writer briefing?

Hy Guys, I struggle a bit with my writer briefing.

My last order was a 3k buying guide article and I don't think that I had given my writer good instructions or maybe I had to do it better.

now my question, what kind of information does a good briefing need.

what has a good writer briefing also to contain in view of main keyword and other keywords he has to put in?

Break down the structure you want

Specify the tone

Clearly describe the sub-topics the writer MUST discuss

Also mention the target audience, an English written article reads differently to a British reader, than to an American, to an Australian etc, through both spelling and phrases.
