what needed to get this google search position with white HAT SEO;

for a certain keyword the number 1 google positioned page has :
- global rank; 1.400.000
- alexa reach rank; 1.300.000
- external backlinks; 1200
- referring domains; 270
- edu backlinks; 8

the number 5 google positioned page has :
- global rank; 1.000.000
- alexa reach rank; 1.300.000
- external backlinks; 120
- referring domains; 37
- edu backlinks; 0

is it with these parameters possible to make an estimate if i can be within top 3 in 3 months? and is it possible to make a rough estimate on how much would that cost me per month?

any input appriciated.

Its not that easy OP, you can just estimate a accurate number of links required to achieve a given results. Its more like trying to get the results.

the thing is i am not familiair with seo at all... so i have no clue whatsoever and what is possible/what to expect.... as you can see from the numbers its not a very competitive industry. lets say i spend 3 months 1.000$/month.. would that get me somewhere near these positions? or are we talking 5.000$/month and plus? or does it take much longer and is 3 months just not possible?

again just for me to get a feeling what is possible and not roughly speaking...
