Now, this is SUPER vague.
But last time I posted a 'what movie is this', I was amazed by the collective knowledge here.
So, here goes again;
- set in the 70's or 80's, in Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia/Philippines
- an American (or British?) family lives in a plantation home in one of the above countries (or similar), with maids/drivers etc
- strangely, I remember that the cars were all Jags (so probably an ex-British Asian country was the setting)
- they are up to some criminal mischief, but I can't remember what (maybe tobacco smuggling..?)
- full of the usual drama that a B-grade (possibly even C-grade) crime/drama movie has (kidnapping, shootouts, white-suited men drinking tea by the pool, etc)
That's literally all I remember.
Any clues, anybody?
