What methods have you actually made money from?

I just kind of stuck it out with one website. Was in the absolute perfect niche as I am extremely vested in it. Spent 2 and a half years building the site up making next to nothing, but now we will more than likely top 6 figures from the site in 2019. It's now a full time job for me. Started out as a blog, and now we are a fully fledged membership site selling memberships for $200 a year. Include affiliate and advertising income in there, and it is going quite well.

We are in the finance niche. It is tough as hell to rank, and it's even tougher to build your reputation and steal any sort of traffic from the mega giants out there. But, it's a little less competition up here in Canada so we were able to take advantage of that. Grew our newsletter list from literally next to nothing at the start of 2018 to almost 5 figures as of right now. And I will tell you this, feed your newsletter top of the line quality content, and they will reward you with money down the line.

Along with the revenue from my site, I've picked up a few SEO clients, all of whom pay me $500+ a month to work on their websites for probably 10-15 hours.

There are plenty of people who claim to make that amount here on BHW. Yes I agree with you every person who read his comments definitely found it helpful besides me. Thanks I will quote multiple people in one post now.

IM worked for me though. First time hearing of that type.
I was right I about the b.s thing after all:D

If you have really tried any of the journey's here you would have earned that "small money" already.

Instagram + CPA is was i've done for couple months/last year. (fake niches)
My results:

OGAds

CPAGrip

But would like to move to more "legit", ways to make money. Like building instagram accounts, selling IG accounts, etc.
Thing is it's takes more time to "rake" the rewards, while with "spam" with cpa you see money more quickly...

I invested a small amount money into Dropshipping
And made $0 so far :( (I fell for the guru’s advices)

I discovered BHW recently and found the information to be very useful. So my hopes are back up again.

I made a shit ton of money with Altavista + Amazon

I made a script that worked like this:

example.com/ASIN/amazoncodehere

Whenever anyone accessed that, the script would request the same ASIN page from Amazon while switching every link in the page to my link with the referral code. It only requested the page once, saving it on disk so the next time it was instant.

Altavista indexed 1 million pages and suddenly I was selling more books than Barnes and Noble.

Amazon then requested I remove their branding from my pages (they were exact copies of Amazon). I changed the script so it would change the logo to my own and some more CSS changes.

You can still use this method with a bunch of sites today. I don't do this anymore, I was young and reckless back then.

This method lasted for about a year before Altavista wrecked me. Good times.

How is this method exactly called? I'm looking for more information on google but can't find any.

There are hundreds of methods in this forum but none of them work that well. People say that you should change the methods a bit and add your own twists to it. You should get creative with journeys posted in this forum or so. You should stop reading and start trying. The thing is almost none of those journeys reach a happy end. I've tried various methods anyway but I've discovered that CPA and earning from ads isn't worth it at all. There's no such thing as spoon-feeding in giving advice. Knowledge without action doesn't have value. I'm not asking for money nor your secrets. Is there a method that you tried which made you money no matter how small it is? If so how much have you made from it?

You're right when you say you need to add your own twists to the methods/ideas that people share in the forum. I'd like to ask you how much do you know about SEO (or how well you do understand SEO) and what is your understanding of some technical tools which are needed in order to safely apply some of the methods.

As for myself in the past I've made decent money from AdSense and affiliation, had several websites but really was just one which gave me 90% of the incomes. Tried since then other ideas and in most cases I've lost time and money, but learned a tons from each failing experiment. Selling ebooks on Amazon has been (and still it is for me) another relatively easy way to make some money (nothing spectacular, but constant flow of money each month).

I'm giving a try to Youtube right now for the first time, after reading a lot about it and come up with my own idea, which I think is a key factor, otherwise everyone would be making money just copying any random method posted here.

Anyway, my advice is not to give up, be patient and don't be scared to take actions. There is no such thing as failure when it comes to IM, because you'll end up learning a lot from every project that won't work as much or even more, that what you'll learn from the ones who will actually make money for you.

Made few hundreds with Amazon KDP.

Working now on an authority blog.

Internet has an overflow of information regarding IM.

Choose materials carefully, study them well and you should be in the money-making club within 90days.

I think I've read about SEO well enough but nowadays everybody knows all about it. How did you actually make decent money from affiliates? I tried so many things to make affiliate work but made 0 from it. Thanks for your advice also how much do you make by selling on amazon and how many book do you have?

You can be in the money making club from day 1 with cpa. How much time did it take to make a few hundreds with the KDP?

Reading is a thing, actually try is a totally different game. Understanding SEO is a never ending learning process, as things constantly changes. Making money from affiliate form me was all about finding the right products and offering to my audience, actually providing value. My website was in a very specific niche so the conversion rate for my affiliate links was quite good, as the product sell made sense with the content in the website. Anyway, for me at least, affiliation marketing was really seasonal, so I had months in which I didn't make any sell, and then there were two specific moment of the year in which I made basically all the sales for the entire year, so take also this into consideration. Depending on the niche you're in, it could be seasonal.

As for Amazon, sells are increasing month by month, not making a lot of money but now I can sit and do nothing, and still make some income (best month was last December, when I made almost 200 dollars, but of course Christmas helped). I have four books now, also I've translated them in three different languages.
