What methods have you actually made money from?

I just build links for clients, nothing special
Hope to grow two of my Instagram accounts to earn in future, it is hard to gain followers yet

I have made good money with Adsense but it was in 2010.

No - Never built any backlinks to splogs.
Splogs = Spam Blogs
Created using various splog tools that were around at the time -
I made a 3000 posts spam blog but almost without any traffic

Local SEO for clients and selling leads from local listings. - Imo this is the best for a quick buck.
Also been reselling digital goods on ebay, like licenses and software.
Now moved on to an agency model, doing only hq marketing video production.

Over the years I've been working in IM (since around 2000) by far the best earner for me was (but isn't any more) Splogs to Adsense - back in 2015.

I was running around 15 - 20 Google adsense accounts, each with a respectable associated money site in various niches and I had build a network of more than 2000 splogs, hosted on Hetzner dedicated servers.
I was using December 11th group cloaking and redirection tools to send the splog traffic to the money sites - then clickjacking to the Google ads.

When things were working well earnings for me were consistently in the range of £8K - £10K per month and I knew people making £30K-£40K per month at that time. But Google began detecting and shutting down my Adsense accounts and deindexing my Splogs faster than I could create them. The ROI became unreliable so I ended up reverting to my freelance SEO work to pay the bills. But I understand there are some who are still successfully making money from splog traffic.
Was a member there as well ....Yep happy days when the tools they had where working and before all the adsense shutdowns .

Try a method, if u fail just learn from the mistake and try again and make sure you don't repeat the same mistake. If your method needs a twist ,think of something.

I started a website with a niche that did not had much potential. I ranked the site to top 10 without much investment but I didnt work on the site again because I know I won't make much money on the site even I if I get to top 3 because the potential traffic is too low. The keyword was good for an authority site but it wasn't good for a super targeted niche website.
This might look like I failed and I gave up. The thing is that I only gave up on the site but I didn't gave up on SEO. Next time I found a new niche to rank, bought an expired domain name this time to avoid sandbox (which I didn't know when I made my first site) and I ranked the site in 2 months. Its a small website that I monetize with adsense. I get about $100/Month but its ok for me because I just invested $200 in total for building and ranking the site. I learned SEO from this forum and made my twists in keyword research to find super low competiton keywords. Now I am in the work of my 3rd website. I haven't tried anyother method other than that from this forum . I saw a good method on Jr VIP section that gave me an idea to twist it to make a new method. I am not sure if it will work but I will try it nevertheless.
Now what would have happened if I gave up on SEO after my first website failed. I would have never tried SEO or made money with it.

I make money from yt, but these days every video get flag. :(

I'll try to list some of the ways I've been able to make money over the years.

- Clickbank Reviews on YouTube
- Affiliate Websites marketing Clickbank products
- Freelancing on Upwork
- Generating local leads using Medium
- Dropshipping store + FB traffic
- Local SEO clients through an SEO blog
- Manual blog commenting

The list goes on and on. Basically find something that works for you and start scaling it ASAP.

Nobody is going to share method that makes money and invite competition for some virtual likes.

Every method here is oversaturated and beat to the ground. That's why they are sharing.

No, twist will not help.

i checked this entire thread, and many of the answers were really good.

for me amazon affiliate worked, it made much more than my job.

Niche websites monetized via affiliate links and ads. I've made upwards of 1k/month, but now I'm down to $250/mo. (Corona killed my traffic, slowly coming back)

All organic traffic with quality articles. ‍♂️

Anyone that says they've tried affiliate websites for less than 18+ months hasn't given it a real shot IMHO.

Drop servicing is my favorite method. I charge anywhere between 1000--30000 then outsource the work to ppl on Fiverr or Upwork.

I'm not a fake guru with a course and not showing any lambos. I make way more from my clients than helping ppl make money.
So you're telling me you "just want to help people" when this is the first thing that pops up when going on your site?

If you're speaking the truth about not selling some scammy course, my apologies. But in that case you should seriously change your entire brand image, cause this looks like a flat out fake guru scam.

It’s funny how much ppl hate or paranoid about gurus. I don’t have a course. I don’t have Youtube ads showing luxury. I wrote two e-books based on how I was able to be self employed for over 7 years now. I share what works for me.

Yes I have a email list and work one on one with ppl. I don’t have time to promote a $997 course when I just sold digital services to a e-commerce business for $24,500 about two weeks ago. Little money making methods got nothing on selling high ticket. My opinion.

I have made money with many different methods over the years.

CPA - content locking
Email submits - Work still to this day.. same old methods new twists and platforms.
Selling Music
Niche Membership Websites
Selling Services on IG FB and forums
Adsense
Content Creation Services on sites like upwork
Custom Coding
PPC + Products

This is simply not true.. Sounds like your not seeing the big picture.

Just realize that you cannot expect to make money overnight and with doing a minimal amount of work. One of the big reasons so many people give up in IM is because it seems so simple to earn money and it is, but it takes a lot of work and persistence. Your not gonna quit your day job in a month unless you are super lucky and know how to scale like no other. One of my niches didn't truly start making steady income until 2 years after I started. Don't give up and pick a method and twist it in a way that fits your skill set and if you can't then outsource if it has ROI potential.

I've had a regular stream of income by freelancing. I do SEO and Wordpress for clients so I also see how they are monetizing their sites and how they do their SEO.

I've earned side money from:
CPA
Google Adsense
Affiliate Marketing
Ad networks

But the income from side businesses is still not enough. So I do freelancing and still try a lot of stuff. Trying and trying to hit a big one.
