Hello

Just curious if there are any methods specific to LinkedIn that people are using these days?

I don't even see much about it on here.

IRL - I am planning on building some product that would benefit from a professional audience.

Lot of people including me used linkedin as parasite, pulse articles to promote affiliate offers. It's not effective anymore and it can suddenly ad noindex tag to the articles.

Still works for cold outreach + lead gen if you personalize. Some use authority posts or groups to funnel traffic. Automation’s riskier now with stricter limits.

Ah fair enough .. so just using it for what its there for really (I'm not being smart..) I guess if you have a product to sell, you have nothing to lose by creating a profile and being active on the site..

But I guess there is nothing scalable that can be leveraged.

People are leveraging a variety of methods to optimize their LinkedIn
presence and engagement. These include crafting a strong professional
online presence, creating engaging content, utilizing LinkedIn's features,
and actively participating in the platform's community

Totally get that. Automation’s pretty much off the table now, so it’s all about being consistent, posting good stuff, and connecting one-on-one.

Just make your LinkedIn profile fire, post some solid content, engage with others, join relevant groups to post, and toss in some targeted ads. Boom!

Google de-indexed a lot of articles.
The algorithm is also very weird right now.

What works very well is commenting on famous people’s posts in your niche. That gives you more visibility than your actual posts.

Reels are also interesting. They do not get too much engagement if professional, but it is very clear that the platform wants to push them more.

It is kinda funny that the platform that most people browse at work looking for a better job is trying to push videos...
It's almost like pron sites putting their Cast & Share buttons next to the close button lol.

You have to specify first what you want from Linkedin. There are a lot of method but all method requires patiernce, dedication, time or money. You can run ads on Linkedin, or you can use Linkedin Sales Navigator to reach to your clients. Another way is to use Linkedin for Parasite SEO.

I did think about that, but the reality is twofold:

1. Videos make people stop. More than text.
2. It is a way to make sure people are real.
With all the AI going around even in there, you never know if you’re talking to a real person, a marketing agency or a bot.

Still, video is quite nerfed. I get 1k impressions per vid and I have a huge following. BUT, videos get most reactions.

If you’re building something for a pro audience, LinkedIn still has potential, just not in the same way it used to. The obvious stuff like cold outreach or SEO through pulse articles isn’t as effective anymore, but creating a legit profile and staying active still goes a long way.

Nothing flashy, but if you play it consistent and clean, it works better than most people think.

Yeah, LinkedIn doesn’t get talked about much here, but it can actually work really well especially if your product or offer targets professionals or B2B.
What’s working lately:

1.Optimizing your profile like a landing page headline, banner, about section, and pinned content all aligned to speak directly to your niche.

2.Manual outreach still works, especially if your message is relevant and not too salesy. People get turned off by spammy pitches.

3.Posting real content (short stories, insights, behind-the-scenes stuff) a couple times a week helps build visibility and trust. Agree with the opinion that short videos or screen recordings can go a long way

4.Joining niche groups or commenting on relevant posts can bring some organic reach, too.

LinkedIn’s better than most people think if you're not just pushing stuff aggressively.

Currently on LinkedIn, people are focusing on short, personalized content that delivers real value. Popular methods include posting PDF carousels, writing mini threads with personal stories, sharing unique POVs, short captioned videos, and offering lead magnets like templates or ebooks in exchange for comments. Profiles are optimized as sales funnels with clear headlines, professional banners, and strong CTAs. Most importantly, consistency (posting 3-5 times/week) and targeting the right audience are key to growth.
