What method this website using to rank?

Hi Guys,

In my gaming niche there is a website called gamasexual dot com. This website is only 1 year old, but ranking for too many competitive keywords. They have 35k Google index pages within 1 year. I am sure that they are using some kind of blackhat method to rank. However I am unable to find it.

Is there anyone can help me to find their method of ranking?

Yes I checked their backlinks. But many online gaming sites have more backlinks than that website. But they are behind this website.
 
First of all, this website is 3 years old with 220.000 crawled pages.

Secondly they seem to be having iframes so other websites pull games from gamasexual.com and use them as theirs e.g http:// game-game. gr/213618/ > https :// gamasexual. com/c/f/g/cyber-gladiator/

Domain is 3 years old. But domain convert to website from the mid of 2019. Website not old enough as compare to the big players in this niche.

Other websites do not the pull game from them, they pull game from other websites with iframe. There are different online gaming sites from where we can take games freely and publish on our website.

This website is around 3 years old, and it never changed niche. Games are pulled from their embedded iframes to other websites.

Anyway, you can believe what you want.

To rank, it's not to have more backlinks, quality of backlinks is important. Analyze their backlink profile and referring domain, this can help to get ideas.
 
It is a simple and clever thing they have done. They are just sending the right signal to google bots. Since it is a gaming site, anybody searching for those keywords would want to play a game. On landing on the site, you get a game that you can play immediately without signing up or putting credit card! Many will start playing to test. And that will mean they will spend more than 5+ minutes on the page. And are like to play similar games suggested.

That alone is a positive signal to Google. Since the users will not bounce, and google will assume that the users are having a good experience, which I think is true. I have just played two games!!
 
It could be the usability effect that @RayChand states, also generally when you can't see an obvious reason a site is ranking, they are hiding PBN links from sea tools and/or 301 redirects from expired domains.
 
I'd agree with the signals... I think the user engagement is what is propelling them in addition to the links indexed. Getting people to stay on a site for 5+ minutes is an achievement in itself.

Google ranking is joke after that update imo, im not much into SEO but as a regular user when i search for something so mamy irrelevant stuff is ranked on first page ...

Also those pdf files ranking competetive keywords first page, its just shitty text shitty image and full page of stuffed keywords,if that can be ranked then then algorythm is broken AF

Buddy, thats not a new thing in online gaming niche. All online gaming sites have same concept. Check crazygames dot com, silvergames dot com, gameflare dot com, gogy dot com.
 
This is a golden rule in IM.....if your avrage time spent on website is more than 1 min. you are doing it right.

Some have finally understood modern SEO

Others still think static links work.

It's not the links, it's the behavior on the links. I've been saying it for years.
