What method do you recommend starting out with?

With all the information I've found on BHW, I find myself overwhelmed with all the possible ways of making money. I'd appreciate it if someone would give me advice on what to start with and the difficulties I might face. Also, what is the most a beginner can accomplish in one summer using any method? Thanks.
