Hey guys,
i am a musician and i've been watching a pretty interesting phenomenon. There's a german rapper called money boy. He is really weak, but somehow he became fockin famous (about 18 million views in total) and his video was also shared at 50 cents website etc.

HE IS WEAK. Thats a fact.The question is - why did the video go viral? I think it was planned as he studied something in regard to media communication, but im not sure.

Basically 99% of the viral videos originate from either ***** or Reddit. If you get popular on those 2 sites, there's a pretty high chance you will go viral.

I remember like a month ago that world's fastest rapper posted that video on Reddit. I saw it when it only had like 100 views (was posted a few hours after it was uploaded). And then within a week it had over a million views.

Because its professionlly edited and different. I know someone that made a video last year over a popular JayZ song that got over 500K hits the first day. They were featured on local news channels by the end of that day and asked to perform in local clubs.

Look at all the remakes of the Andy Sandberg "Im on a boat" - You can find a very pro video that went viral called "I'm on a float". They made so many parodys of this song and lots of em went viral.

I think uniqueness and good editing is key. Has to be entertaining too!

Became viral because he was hilarious and the link got spreaded trough the whole world I guess,for that reason.

I've seen this video posted on a hip hop forum. It went viral because the rapping sucks badly and he said the "n" word which people find hilarious.

It is easy to get a vid to go viral just add lots of backlinks slowly (100 an hour). Dont drop all the links at one time this will cause the vid to go south.
