Hello!

I am exploring the idea of using aged X accounts to market an affiliate prn site.

I’m not a social media user in general so not very knowledgeable.

I noticed that there are accounts of all different types, creation dates, mobile/email auth etc.

What makes the best aged X accounts? What do I need to make sure is included/not included for it to be an account worth purchasing.

And it if I find an ideal account, what should I expect to pay (roughly)?

Thanks!

Let it age and do some activity on regular intervals. Make it appears like real account to algorithm.

A great aged X account has consistent activity, niche relevant followers, organic engagement, and a clean history no spam, no bans, no sudden behavior shifts. Bonus if it’s tied to a legit persona.

A great aged X account has a long-term presence with engaging content, a personalized profile, and active interaction with followers. It builds trust through authenticity and focuses on relevant interests.

I have around 10 accounts. One of my accounts I personally created back in 2015 and got Twitter blue legacy at the earliest opportunity. I have a verified number, verified email, and 2FA. It's so easy to get my content trending especially if I use a trending hashtag

A great aged X account stands out through consistent activity, niche authority, high-quality content, and strong community engagement. Its longevity builds credibility, while a recognizable handle, branding, and past involvement in notable moments add value and influence.

A well-aged X account is already favored by the algorithm for this niche.

best thing you can do is, buy an accoutn that's at least a few years old for one. Second, the account should keep the same gmail, so Twitter won't notice any significant changes and flags you. So buy accounts, where you get the gmail access as well. Then a number should be verified and as @adammakonda already said, use 2FA. Another factor is the account creation. You want it to be where you're using your account. For example: Account created in the US -> Use the account in the US. The less changes and the more accurate the account matches you, the better.

Hope that helps!

For aged Twitter accounts doing affiliate work (particularly in the adult niche), quality is gonna matter more than age I'd say.
For that, it'd be mostly about consistent posting history (niche related, ideally), zero policy violations or suspensions, fully verified with mobile number, solid follower history (the more organic ones, the better), and ideally you're on US or a Tier 1 geo origin but that depends on your target audience. Fake engagements is going to hurt your account doubly so, especially if it starts to look clearly botted.
Of course, pricing also depend on quality. I'd say somewhere in the neighbourhood of $20 to $100+ for well-aged, clean and active accounts. Caveat emptor, and all that.

You can Pick an X account that’s at least two years old, has a verified phone/email, real followers who like and comment, and a clean posting history.

a good aged x account usually has consistent activity history, verified email (and sometimes phone), profile pic, bio, and preferably some real interactions. bonus if it’s been used manually on mobile, not just botted.
but even with a solid acc, how you log in matters a lot. if you just sign in from a random device or dirty ip, it can get flagged fast. best to use an antidetect browser like hidemyacc, multilogin, etc., set each acc in its own profile, with a clean proxy.
as for price, depends on age and quality. fresh + phone verified might be a couple bucks, but older ones with solid history can go up to 10 or more.

In my opinion phone number verification is crucial. There is even a feature on Twitter to deactivate notifications from accs without it. So Twitter openly states that it's less trustworthy if you don't have nr. Verified.

A great aged X (Twitter) account is valuable because the platform's algorithm tends to trust older, more organically grown accounts. These accounts are less likely to be flagged, reach more people, and convert better—especially in adult, affiliate, or content promotion niches like OnlyFans.
