What Makes A Good Backlink?

I've been looking at backlink parameters for quite a while now. I still can't figure out what makes a good backlink and which backlinks are considered bad / spam. Moreover. Which of these parameters are considered the most important? Please, only comment if you're absolutely sure what you're talking about. Thanks guys.

Simply put, A good backlink is any link from a page that has high value pages linking to it. There are many parameters and no one can provide exact scale of these parameters in terms of number. What's important is that, get backlink from a page that has value in the eyes of search engines. If a page is not ranking for keywords, then the value is questionable.
Personally, I'm setting some principles as regards backlinks.
* Backlink should come from a page that's ranking for keywords
* Backlink should come from a page that's getting Organic traffic.
* Backlink should come from a page that's shared on social networks.

That's good and all. But what about topic relevancy?
 
Well another way to spot good or bad links would be to use metrics. If metrics are put in place, I'd use
1) Majestic TF - at least 20 and above are good links from that domain
2) Moz DA/PA - at least 30/35 and above are good links - but make sure you check the link profile to that domain and ensure there are so spam links, as spam links can also bump the DA/PA ratings higher.

You are spot on for #1 principle. #2 however is just a consequence of #1, so when you have #1, you also have #2, meaning if you rank for keywords, you are receiving organic traffic. #3 though is highly controversial and in my tests, social signals aren't much of a contributing factor, if at all. It depends on the niche. Some niches tend to have more social shares than others, but in any case the contribution % of social signals when it comes to rankings is tiny small despite the fact sellers try to hype them up as the new Era of SEO. In addition, #1 may also bring as a consequence #3 in most niches, meaning from all the organic visitors that visit your page/site, a certain % of them will share the posts on social media.
 
Where the link is posted, and many other parameters such as: Keywords, content relevant to the link, how many links on the page, etc...
 
Content relevancy definitely is important. Ideally, you want to post on a website that is relevant to your keywords as a whole, not only on the page where you get a backlink. Same as on-page SEO: your money page and surrounding pages should all be relevant.
