What makes a good affiliate program?

Just wonder what makes a good affiliate program.
or, if you want to choose an affiliate program, what criteria do you have for it?
Generally speaking, commission ratio, cookies lifetime etc.
What do you think of it?

What makes a good affiliate program? A good product and a great sales pitch.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the cookie duration, the payout frequency (as long as it's reasonable) or even the commission percentage (it's the EPC that matters, not the commission). The only things I care about is how much money will I make (EPC) and that the product/service is good, appeals to my audience and is worthy of my recommendation.

Yes, I agree with you. If you want to make big money, a long-term hard-working is necessary. EPC is really a key point. you don't need to attract more people, but targeted people who are interested in your products/service. good products/service is a must for long-term benefit.
