one of my biggest shift comes down to improving viewer retention rather than just thumbnails or SEO. Once you start focusing on keeping people watching past the first 30–60 seconds, everything else tends to compound faster.

Mastering the first 3-5 seconds the hook. You can have flawless SEO and a clean thumbnail, but if your swipe-away rate is trash, the algorithm kills the video instantly. Once I fixed the hooks and started giving videos a strong initial boost to push them into top rankings right away, everything just clicked.

Honestly biggest change for me was just picking better video ideas once i started focusing on what people actually want to watch things improved a lot
