Hello,

What link types are good for tier 1?

Currently I am using:

Articles
Web 2.0s
Wikis
HIGH PR Blog Networks

Wikis: NEVER use directly to your money site.
Articles sites?: Don't use low quality spammy article sites.
High PR Blog Ntwks: Be careful while using directly to your money site, as if the network got hit in future, then obviously your site could be the victim as well. You use it on tier 2 to strengthen your web2.0s.
Web2.0: Use almost 700+ words article with one image and video, also use one link in each post to some authority site's article such as wikipedia. Make sure to change the default theme with the custom one. As, it looks more natural to Big G. (you can find free ones via Google).

Point out all the spammy backlinks to tier3 and less spam to tier 2.

Wikis definitely shouldn't be used as Tier 1.

As for article sites, if you're going to use them, only use the huge ones like EzineArticles. It'll only hurt the site to submit them to low quality directories.

High PR Blog Network is Top Priority & After High PR Network I Prefer and Suggest Web 2.0, They are best. I Mostly Use Web 2.0 as Tier 1.
Personally I stopped Article Links as Tier 1, For No Such Reason. Just I Liked Web 2.0 better Links and More Optimized Links as compared to Articles. but still Article Links from Ezinearticles is One of Great type of Link.

Tier #1:


- Aged Web 2.0s at least 1 year
- HIGH PR Blog Networks at least 1 year

All are with unique articles.

- Purchasing high PR links from authority sites

JasonS has provided the best info.

For Tier-1 always build high quality pure contextual, unique & niche-relevant backlinks from HQ Private Blog Networks (PBN's that are safe & PRIVATE).

For Tier-2 use HQ Web 2.0 properties from high PR sites & follow the procedure that JasonS has mentioned.

For Tier-3 use Wikis, Articles sites & other low link building tactics.

Don't use Wikis, article sites & any other untrusted network to build Tier-1 backlinks! It will ruin your campaign.
